You should also drag your focus away from your ex towards yourself. Take some steps towards self love and self improvement. If you focus your energies on helping yourself rather than pining for your ex, then you are on the way to recovering from the break up. You might like to join the gym, start taking an art class or dance class, learn a language or any other avenue of interest that takes your fancy.

You should make sure that you get regular exercise, this is a double pronged approach as it makes you look hotter, which is always a pick me up.
