I know my husband cheated on me but I can’t just stop loving him. I want to stop my divorce. How on earth do I make that wish come true? It’s a tall order but you can stop your divorce and save your marriage. Here are a few things you need to remember.

Tendency is, you will feel like its good to shut off all emotions you feel and hide from the world, especially from the people you had caused you pain. If that happens, it will make life easier; you just don’t feel anything at all. But, on the other hand, would life be complete if you do that? Probably not.
There is a belief, taken from the Chinese concept of yin and yang that says opposites actually compliment each other. You can’t appreciate the true meaning of happiness if you haven’t felt pain at all.
If you tend to shut yourself to the world and don’t want to feel the pain and joys of being in a relationship, then you’ll miss the true essence of loving someone and being loved by that person in return.
Creating a Comfortable Atmosphere
Here’s more. We hurt those people we love because we know that they love us as well. You feel really hurt when you’ve found out that your husband cheated on you because of the love you feel for him.
His act of cheating didn’t effectively end the emotional connection between the two of you. It didn’t erase the years of love the two of you have shared.
The question now is this: How do you bring back the good things together and win his attention back to you? Here’s how:
1. Take a deep breath and remember all the good things you shared together. The more memories you have the better is it to prepare for the new chapter of your life together.
2) Let him know that you’re willing to work things out. He may know you well but he doesn’t read minds. If you’re willing to give him a second chance you’re probably going to have to let him know.
3. Take it slow. Don’t rush. Both of you need time to heal the wounds of the past especially the possibility of getting a divorce. It seems that divorce is the best answer but when reality sinks in, you will have to think of things that need to be considered, financially and emotionally.
Sometimes you don’t figure out how much you want to save your marriage until the divorce feels like a done deal.
