3) Take responsibility for your actions. Blaming him for your act of infidelity will only make matters worse. You were the one who enjoyed the show while he was not with you, so don’t hold him accountable for it. Maybe there are things he did that made you cheat on him, but now is not the right time to mention it to him. You can probably let him realize his part when the time comes that everything is back into place.
4) Accepting his apology first and foremost. He may not ask for forgiveness directly but you can tell him the things that caused you pain. In that way he may realize in time that he has taken part on the drastic event of your life which is cheating and he may ask for your forgiveness also. But before it happens, you need to forgive him first for a better start of your new relationship.
5) Make him believe it is his idea. The best way by far to get him to forgive you is by making him believe he is the one who thought of it in the first place. Don’t push. Don’t beg. Don’t even prod him in the right direction. Be the wonderful woman he married and give him time to come to the decision on his own.
